Blacklight's roots began very long ago in 2004. However, the energetic band began to get serious in the summer of 2007, and has began growing locally popular in their High School crowd. With the release of their new EP, they plan on expanding their horizons.
Blacklight has been known for there ass-kicking, potentially harmful live performances and a rock out attitude unlike any other band of their age. The band consists of James Smith (15, Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Nick Loiacono (15, Lead Guitar), Connor Lung (14, Drums, insanity, and Backup Vocals), and Jake Bliele (14, Bass). They have developed a darker sounding rock/alternative/screamo sound powered by driving rhythms and catchy lyrics/melodies.
